I assist
new school to apply for and get approved to become an Approved Provider on their
State’s “Eligible Training Provider List.”
The Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) was established in compliance with
the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998. The purpose of the ETPL is to
provide customer-focused employment training for adults and dislocated workers.
Training providers who are eligible to receive Individual Training Accounts (ITAs)
through WIA Title I-B funds are listed on the ETPL.
All
providers and their programs must first be approved by a qualified government
agency. What is a "qualified" government agency? An agency authorized by law or
regulation to approve a training program. The following agencies could be listed
as qualified to approve providers and training programs:
